In this 6 week course you will be guided as a beginner meditator in the most beautiful mindful destinations. The course is designed so you have 5 daily meditations for the week and a starter introduction for you to know what is coming up that week. You will also get a positive affirmation for each day. Niema Golphin really leads these meditations in the most real and authentic way where she shares some mini stories with you in relation to inspiring you to start living a mindful lifestyle to get the most out of what you want to bring about in your life. As a black women Niema looked for other meditators who looked like her when she first got started and their were not many so after 5 years of practice she wanted to share with other women of color how powerful meditation can be to tap into the depths of your soul by sitting still. Most of us if not all have experienced trauma, and are trying to do our best to stay encouraged and to balance all that we have going on in life. This meditation program is just for those looking to find balance, inspiration, accountability and more peace.
I am an author and meditation guide who was born in Philadelphia and educated at Azusa Pacific University in southern California. At the age of 32 a profound inner transformation lead me to meditation. Let’s just say it was love at first sight. Although I had experienced a high level of childhood trauma, I channeled my energy into sports and writing. I was a four time National Champion on the collegiate level and decided to stop running track to pursue a career in education. After college I earned a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Fifteen years later, I have had the privilege of inspiring children and families with two self-published books, and have traveled speaking to thousands of teens about my personal story. At the age of 35, a profound inner transformation led me to guided meditation workshops for others who want to heal from their past to enjoy the reward for the present. My speciality is working with beginner meditators in mindfulness meditation, teaching the benefits and vital importance of connecting with one’s self.
